Howdy, its been a busy few weeks and both Nath and I have been working longer hours then usual and its taking it's toll. I haven't had the camera out as much as I would have liked.  Despite this I  had a wonderful birthday celebration with dear friends and a lovely mother's day. Our beautiful mums that is a whole other post.

These two are the best of friends. They play together for hours and hours each day and need less and less of us. We head to the beach many times in the week, now its cooler they start on their skateboards but always end up playing in the sand or rocks, where they never want to leave.

The nursery

On friday I attended Tim's  nursery workshop. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I first met Tim last year when he did our family shoot, since then I have been even more inspired by his beautiful photography. Even though I have owned a number of  SLR cameras I have rarely had them off auto since high school.  Tim is a great teacher.  He taught us not to be afraid of our cameras and for those like me how to  use our cameras on manual. I will never put mine on auto again. Tim is a true artist and a got a little more insight into this spending the day with him, the most important thing for him is emotionally connecting with the people you shoot.

Things have been busy around here. 

Today I turned another year older and I was very spoilt. I'm hoping the new gear will inspire me.

Little e has been very very busy and nothing is safe including himself at times.

Eth wants to dye his hair and start a blog and as you can see is currently a little camera shy.

 Arky has grown up so much in the last three months I hardly recognise him from the boy on his first day  school.
